Marketing

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a Marketing major offers students the opportunity to develop practical skills and knowledge that will be directly applicable to the business world upon graduation. Because the BBA requires more business courses than a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, it is considered the degree of choice for students planning a career in marketing, better preparing students to excel in the business world.

The small classes at Concordia allow for personal attention from top-caliber faculty who have extensive practical experience in the business world. Students learn marketing theory and apply concepts in activities such as electronic commerce, direct marketing, advertising, sales presentations, case analysis and marketing plans. These activities expose students to the practical, challenging and interesting projects and situations they will encounter in their careers. They also help students develop leadership skills and explore ethics and environmental sustainability. Students can also join Concordia's Business Club to develop their leadership abilities, broaden their knowledge and expand their network.
