There were 165 plungers who jumped from a variety of area PD's, SO's, and fire departments. We raised over $27,000.00 for the MN Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge is an off-shot of the Torch Run and some other events that benefit some "very special people!" They participate to finish...not to win, and the smile on their face "says it all!"
