Peanut butter and jelly. Batman and Robin. Baseball and summer. MAOM and MBA.
Good things get better when they come in pairs. That's especially true with Concordia University's new Dual Degree option that offers a streamlined path for graduates of Concordia's Master of Arts in Organizational Management program to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
Five Courses, Eight Months, One MBA
The Dual Degree option allows you to apply 24 graduate credits earned from your MA in Organizational Management program to fulfill requirements for the 44-credit MBA program. You'll take just five new courses to complete the MBA program in about eight months! Each four-credit course is seven weeks long. The Dual Degree MBA option will be offered in either online or blended formats in the same collaborative cohort-based learning environment you experienced in your Organizational Management master's program.
|MBA 500||Organizational Leadership and Development (4 credits)|
|MBA 505||Global Economics (4 credits)|
|MBA 520||Integrated Marketing Communication (4 credits)|
|MBA 530||Managerial Finance and Accounting (4 credits)|
|MBA 610||Tools for Managerial Decision Analysis (4 credits)|
No course substitutions or exceptions are allowed. All five courses must be taken to complete the MBA Dual Degree requirements. Because you have already completed a graduate level capstone project in the MAOM program, a capstone project is not required to complete the MBA program. If your MAOM capstone is incomplete, contact Academic Advisor Kate Lewis at email@example.com or 651-603-6153 to make arrangements to complete your capstone so that your MAOM degree can be awarded. You may not begin the Dual Degree program until your MAOM degree has been awarded.
