Intensive Classes
About intensive programming:
All classes must meet academic requirements of a minimum of 35 engaged learning hours per credit.
Courses offered at an intensive pace provide students with an accelerated, in-depth learning experience.
Classes may run for four to eight weeks, depending on the credit value, instead of the traditional 16 weeks in a semester.
In-class intensives meet one night a week for two to four hours.
In-class Saturday intensive courses typically meet once for six hours on Saturday with follow-up out-of-class assignments and other coursework completed online asynchrounously.
Online intensive couses have a synchronous 1 hour chat or Webex component or are asynchronous without chats.
Weekend intensive "in the city" courses meet face to face at various times throughout a particular weekend with follow-up out-of-class assignments and other coursework completed online asynchrounously.
