2012-13 CSP-led International Trips

Below you will find information on CSP-led international opportunities for the 2012-2013 academic year:

Germany: January 2013

Undergraduate business students will have the opportunity to explore managerial decision making on a global level.  This trip gives junior and senior level students the opportunity to research successful European companies, develop relevant research questions pertaining to their success in a global market, and spend time visiting the companies in order to learn from the company managers.  The main part of the program will take place in Munich, Germany.  Cultural side trips to Wittenberg, Berlin, Salzburg, Austria, and possibly Prague, Czech Republic will further enhance the cultural immersion experience.

Chile: January 2013 

Chile leads Latin American nations in human development, competitiveness, income per capita, globalization, economic freedom, low perception of corruption, and state of peace.  It is becoming well recognized that South America is becoming an ever more important trading partner with the United States.  This trip will help students understand the impact of international trade, diverse cultures and their impact on workplace relationships, and immersion in an unfamiliar culture and language.

Italy: January 2013

The Italy Tour includes travel to major centers of Western culture: Venice, Florence, and Rome.  The tour will provide deeper insight into, and first-hand experience with, peoples, places, and perspectives representing more than 2,000 years of Western history and culture.  The trip offers the possibility of earning up to eight academic credits in Writing and Art.

Nicaragua Service Trip: January 2013

Students will travel to Candelaria, Nicaragua to work with New Song Mission Nicaragua.  Students will have the opportunity to play with kids, teach bible studies, work on construction projects, help with agricultural programs, and discover their own gifts at the same time!
