Concordia in Costa Rica!
The Concordia-led study abroad program is offered every spring semester. Students will have the opportunity to take two courses from a Concordia faculty member on-site in Costa Rica, as well as two courses from Veritas University, an accredited university located in San Jose. You will appreciate learning with and from Costa Rican students, faculty, and staff, as well as take advantage of an international experience with a uniquely Lutheran perspective.
*One Concordia University Course
*Credit-bearing Experiential Learning Abroad Programs (ELAP) component
*Veritas University Intensive Spanish Language Course
As well as taking:
*A second Concordia University course and / or
*A Veritas University elective.
Beyond the classroom, there are opportunities to become involved with local homestay families, language exchanges and tutoring, cultural excursions such as ziplining in the rainforest, and experiential learning programs such as working with local schools.
