"The Web Design course is structured to teach the visual, communication and marketing aspects of a good website. It is a project based course where students will create websites and web content using the industry standard Adobe Creative Suite software (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash) and other web related tools. Course material will be tailored to the experience level of the students enrolled in the course. (Prerequisites: Art101, COM103, or consent of instructor)"

Any student who needs to communicate, persuade or market  in the digital world should consider this course. To find out more information, contact Adjunct Professor Brad Daniels (bdaniels@csp.edu).

NEW Digital Lab for Spring 2010

In preparation to support students enrolling in Web Design and Digital Art for Spring 2010, the Art Department is installing 12 digital work stations to allow students to "plug-in" for better design work. According to Brad Daniels (Design Professor):

"Allowing Design students to use BOTH their current 15" laptop screens combined with the new 20" external monitors makes it easier to gauge critical color and sizing issues in their web and print projects. This new technology will also allow simultaneous video training and practice with the amazing set of Adobe programs for design. Design students who are Mac users will also be able to connect to these stations."
