Kari Bappe Kari Bappe has served as a School Psychologist for the South Sioux City Community District for the past 12 years. Prior to that, she worked as a Family and Marriage Therapist at St. Lukes/Gordon Recovery Center. She earned her Specialist Degree from the University of South Dakota. For the past 8 years she has also served as an adjunct professor at Western Iowa Technical Community College and is an Independent Parent/Teacher Facilitator for the Love & Logic Institute. Kari has traveled extensively speaking to families and organizations about the Nine Essential Skills of Love and Logic. Her humorous and down-to-earth style will not only entertain you, but offer you some very effective tools that you can put to work in your homes and classrooms. Kari and her husband of twenty years Scott, farm in Iowa and are the proud parents of three wonderful teenagers. |

Judith Christian Dr. Judith Christian taught in Lutheran schools in Illinois, Ohio and Missouri. A frequent presenter nationally on a variety of topics relative to children and family ministries and educational leadership, she has served as curriculum consultant and independent author for Concordia Publishing House, Lutheran Education Association and Concordia University System. Judy served as the Director of Children's Ministry for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod from 1994-2010. A graduate of Concordia, River Forest where she also completed a M.A. degree, her doctoral work in educational administration and leadership was completed at St. Louis University. A recipient of several "master teacher" awards, an honorary doctorate from Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota, the Alumnus of the Year award from her alma mater, and the 2010 Christus Magister award from Lutheran Education Association, Judith states that she is best known as "the mother of?." |
